The renowned craftsmen of Natural Stone Warehouse in Paarden Eiland recently celebrated the grand opening of their flawless new showroom, and also welcomed the announcement of their official rebrand to launch their fresh new name: CONTINUA | TILE & SLAB STUDIO.
The launch welcomed the South African design community and media, and with connoisseur canapés and craft beverages on tap, the most expansive collection of marble and onyx slabs came to life. It was a sensory explosion.
Natural Stone Warehouse has been a familiar name in the industry for 20 years, but for the last 5 it has been breathing new life as Serkan and Karen Guvenilir saw an opportunity and took over the company. With their years of experience and pure passion for bringing natural elements together, they have been growing and shaping it, filling a particular void in the market. This has officially been conceptualized, with the rebrand and new name of CONTINUA | TILE & SLAB STUDIO.
CONTINUA re-imagines natural stone with a quirky and forward thinking approach to the design possibilities. Traditionally classified as a somewhat classic, timeless and old-school material, CONTINUA understands the formula to take marble to new heights. It’s a combination of blending a design vision with the most perfect material and impeccable craftsmanship.
On entering the new studio, it is difficult to miss the jaw-dropping display of The Rudi’s Choice Marble Collection. Opulent and stylish, the display is innovative and takes designers imagination to a whole new level of boundary-less design. With each slab being uniquely metamorphosed, each vein organically formed, and each colour like no other, it is crucial that you view and select your marble and onyx slab in person, which is what makes this showroom so imperative to the Cape Town design community.
